Our Inside Sales Account Manager team ensures every customer interaction is exceptional and tailored to meet the customer. 


Join us as an Associate Inside Sales Representative (m/f/d) within our Next Generation Sales Graduate Program on our Inside Sales team in Munich as of February 2021 to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.


What you’ll achieve

As an Associate Inside Sales Representative (m/f/d) within our Next Generation Sales Graduate Program, you will learn sales and technology skills from scratch, take on responsibility from day one, benefit from a steep learning curve and do have a career progression within our sales organization. After a program duration of maximum three years, you will be enabled to take over an Account Executive role in outside sales focusing on a geographical area, product line, industry, channel or market segment. This role is a perfect opportunity for innovative, outside the box thinking and pro-active recent graduates with a passion for sales, technology and acquisition as we will provide several training methods to learn and develop a deep understanding of sales, our product portfolio, customers and competitors.


You will:

  • Support of and cooperation with our Account Executives in the assigned district and establishment of a healthy network of partners for the assigned sales region in Germany
  • Identification and generation of customer projects by implementing outbound sales activities of our Dell solutions (cold calling, call-out days, etc.) in compliance with our sales strategies and sales targets
  • Identification of existing or future challenges of the customers in the enterprise, commercial or public segment and thus acquisition of new business fields in order to increase sales with customers in the assigned area (development of a pipeline)
  • Independent sales support of customers and partners, permanent revision and evaluation of the existing customer potential together with the development and coordination of project offers
  • Close cooperation with the Partner Account Managers as well as the business managers of the individual product segments in order to permanently review and reassess the existing customer potential
  • Familiarization through our 4-week new hire bootcamp in Munich and London with our best sales colleagues as well as continuous personal and professional development in addition to the daily business through regular coaching and training sessions

Essential Requirements

  • Completed bachelor's or master’s degree in economics, business informatics, industrial engineering or similar fields of study
  • First sales (related) work experience through internships and working student positions in B2B business
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and negotiation skills in English and German at all levels and the ability to work in intercultural teams
  • Passion for sales and high level of resilience, networking skills and the ability to deal with change in a fast-paced work environment
  • Drive for results together with a high level of self-motivation, learning agility and problem-solving skills

Desirable Requirements

  • First knowledge of the IT and storage industry
